New Sage Accpac ERP 5.4 Service Packs

This week service packs for Sage Accpac ERP 5.4 were released for General Ledger (5.4 SP2), Accounts Receivable (5.4 SP3) and Accounts Payable (5.4 SP3). The release of the service packs was on June 26th, 2008 and will mainly stability releases accumulated hot fixes and solutions from the Sage Accpac knowledge base. General Ledger 5.4A service pack 2 requires System Manager 5.4 service pack 3 or later to be installed. It solves a few problems with the finder, budgeting when using Windows Vista and some issues with Financial Reporter including compatibility issues with MS Excel 2007.

Accounts Receivable 5.4A service pack 3 including accumulated number of hot fixes where solutions were already created but required patches to be applied. It also sovled a some issues with receipt entry, returning customer checks and integration with bank services.

Accounts Payable 5.4A servive pack 3 also included a number of already avaible hot fixes as well as fixes trhoughout the Accounts Payable module. Issues with printing checks to the proper standards, taxes and EFT processing and some forms were updated.
