LanPak is Sage Accpac ERP’s user licensing system. It allows one or more users to run Sage Accpac ERP software. Like System Manager, you can install LanPak with a temporary 30‐day license before requiring a program activation code. If you do not activate LanPak within the 30‐day period, you will no longer be able to start the Sage Accpac ERP.
LanPak will perform two functions for your organization. First, it will license Sage 300 ERP Accpac for one or more users. If you want to use Sage Accpac ERP on a single computer, you will need to install a one‐user LanPak. When using LanPak, you can add Sage 300 ERP Accpac users to a network quickly and easily and as of right now, LanPak packages are available that increase the number of users on a network by 1, 5, 10, or 20 (depending on the edition of Sage 300 ERP Accpac that you are using). Second, LanPak determines the kind of database with which your Sage 300 ERP Accpac installation works and makes all necessary adjustments.
